Newcastle Festival Opera presents a great night enjoying your favorite highlights from opera by Mozart and Puccini.

On Friday 3rd September company artists with be joined by the Newcastle Festival Opera Chamber Orchestra under their conductor Ian Cook.

Leading Sydney pianist Gabriella Pusner will perform Mozart’s beautiful Piano Concerto No 23 K488 and the virtuoso concert aria for soprano and piano obligato Ch’io mi scordi di te? sung by Gabrielle Kavanagh, in this concert, which juxtaposes repertoire from Romantic Opera and the Classical Era.

Newcastle Festival Opera Chamber Orchestra accompanies stars such as Ashley Giles, Kim Dover and Ghillian Sullivan in jewels of vocal repertoire by Puccini and Mozart.
